Abstract | ||||
Abstract: The study aims to identify the effectiveness of relying on the brain electrical activity indicators (Excitement-Interest-Engagement) during training of young weightlifters for Qualifying Selection. Method: Descriptive Approach was used due to its relevance to research nature. Sample: Involved 30 boys and girls aged 12.47± 0.50 years. Data Collection Tools: Training program was conducted for 3 months and measured the neurotransmitter response by (Emotive Insighttm model1.0) during exercises; the measurements of the three indicators were classified into three groups (weak – medium – high) without informing young athletes of their results. Then, they are observed for 2 years to identify the achievements in weightlifting for each group. Conclusions: The results were (high group = 100% - medium group = 75% - weak group = 0%) in training continuity and record development. Recommendations: The researcher recommends the necessity of relying on Cortex Response in selecting and directing young athletes to the suitable sport. | ||||
