Abstract | ||
MS is a diffuse immune-mediated inflammatory disease that evolves over time; it’s characterized by the presence of CNS lesions disseminated in space and time. Plaques of inflammatory demyelination within the CNS are the pathologic hallmark of MS. 1H-MRS is a noninvasive imaging technique that’s promising as diagnostic technique for MS as well as a good marked for immune-modularity therapy response and as a predictor for clinical disability in MS. Aim of the Study: To highlight the value of MR spectroscopy in evaluation & monitoring patients with multiple sclerosis and how MR spectroscopy can add valuable information to conventional MR. | ||
