| Abstract | ||
| The present study was conducted at 2015 and 2016 to fined out the best ecofriendly method(s) to control downy mildew disease of grapes ( Plasmopara viticola Berk & Curt) . Water extracts of castor, oleander and mintha significantly reduced the disease incidence , increased chlorophyll and carotein contents , improved plant water relations and increased yield production , than the non-treated control plants. - The same observations were obtained using emulsion oils of castor, thyme and mintha . Castor water extract and emulsion oils showed the best results . - Aplication of Bacillus subtilis alone or in combination with Trichoderma harzianum (5g/l + 2.5m/l) respectively gave much better results of disease managment, physiological aspects and yield components . - Integration of the biocontrol agents with plant extracts and /or plant oils gave good results , and the best was obtained when thyme oil was integrated with Bacillus subtilis (10⁶ cfu). Individual application of the recommended fungicides severly reduced the disease severity of infection, improved the physiological statues and significantly increased yield production of both Crimson and Flame grape cultivars. | ||
