Abstract | ||||
Five mosses are reported as new records to the Khartoum Province. This brings the number of fully identified mosses known from this Province to 11 entities. The main floral elements in the studied localities are species of Philonotis. The total number of fully identified mosses, for the Sudan, is increased from 23 to 31 entities. Four of the eight new to Sudan records resulted from this work while the other four were erroneously regarded earlier as elements of the Egyptian flora. | ||||
