Abstract | ||
A series of ethyl 2-substituted aminopyrido [3',2': 5,6] thiopyrano [ 4,3,2-de] quinoline-1-carboxylate (VII)i-viii was obtained by reacting ethyl2-chloropyrido[3',2':5,6] thiopyrano [4,3,2-de] quinoline-1-carboxylate (VIa) with certain aromatic amines. Another series of ethyl 6-chloro-9,11-dimethyl-2-substituted aminopyrdo [3',2':5,6] thiopyrano [ 4,3,2-de] quinoline-1-carboxylate (VIIb)i-viii was also obtained by reacting ethyl 2,6-dichloro-9,11-dimethylpyrido [3',2':5,6] thiopyrano[4,3,2-de] quinoline-1-carboxylate )VIb) with different amines. Molecular modeling study and in vitro cytotoxic effect of some samples of the synthesized compounds were also achieved. | ||
