Abstract | ||||
Abstract: The study aimed at identifying the actual role that the National Council for Women plays through services, programs, and strategies it provides to facilitate women political empowerment, This study was a descriptive study used comprehensive social survey methodology for 54 female members of the National Council for Women in Cairo, and the study revealed the following results: the most important role for the National Council for Women is to identify the needs and problems associated with politically empowering women via studying, investigating and preparing the annual plan. The council included plans to empower women politically via multiple services. and the important indicators, improving the percentage of female election representation. such obstacles include; the unclear vision for women's political empowerment, the low number of women volunteers and participants in the political field, and the prevailing beliefs that hinder women's political participation. | ||||
