| Abstract | ||
| This research aimed to identify the training needs of fish farm holders at the Triangle area in Damietta governorate, as well as build a training program for fish farm holders under Egyptian conditions. Field data was collected using a questionnaire form in a personal interview, during the period from January to February 2021, for a simple random sample 106 fish farms out of a total of 1060 farmers reached a rate of 10%. Frequencies, percentages, range, average, standard deviation, and relative weight were used as tools for statistical analysis through the SPSS program to extract and present the results, and the most important results were as follows: 1- The results indicated a high level of extension needs for each of the respondents' agricultural knowledge and skills, which in turn was reflected in the low training needs. 2- A proposal for a conceptual model for building a training program for fish farm owners under Egyptian conditions was developed (Figure 2). | ||
