Abstract | ||
Chromatographic investigation of the alcoholic extract of Buddleia madgascariensis Lam. resulted in the isolation and identification of 6-O-(3''-O-p-coumaroyl-α -L-rhamnopyranosyl) catalpol, 6-0-(3-O-p-coumaroyl-α - L- rhamno- pyranosyl) aucubin, acteoside, acaciin, rutin and mimengoside. These compounds were identified on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic analyses. Antibacterial and antioxidant activities of some isolated compounds were tested. | ||
