Abstract | ||||
Introduction:Protection by the flavonoids , rutin and protochatechuic acid , against insecticide chlorpyrifos induced mitotic crossing over , gene conversion and reverse mutation were investigated in Saccharomyces cerevisia D7 . Results: The results indicate that Rutin and Protochatechuic acid have some antimutagenic potential against mutagenicity of chloropyrifos. There for, the flavonoids contained in Senna seem to be important as antimutagenic and antioxidants. | ||||
