Abstract | ||
Investigation of the petroleum ether-ether extract of Encelia palmeri afforded four mixed dimers of euparin and encecalin. Further, derivatives of euparin, encecalin, B-sitosterol, stigmasterol and β-farnesene were also isolated. The structure of these compounds was elucidated on basis of spectral methods and direct comparison of their spectral data with those of authentic compounds (co-TLC and m.p.). | ||
