Abstract | ||
The extrinsic muscles and muscular coat of the buccal mass of the Egyptian vivip < /strong>arid snail Viviparus unicolor has been macro- and micronanatomically studied for the first time. Their structure has been correlated with their function and with the mechanism of feeding of the snail. Also, it has been comp < /strong>ared with the corresponding constituen ts of other gastropods. | ||
