Abstract | ||||
Fish farming has become the most important sector for the development of fish production in Egypt in recent years. It has become the source of fish production despite the availability of many other sources. Fish farming contributes about 1.64 million tons, representing about 80.53% of the total fish production value. The production of Kafr El-Sheikh governorate is about 42.45% of the total amount of fish produced in Egypt.The research aimed to estimate the marketing efficiency of fish farms in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and the research relied on the method of descriptive and quantitative analysis through the use of some statistical methods such as percentages, simple and multiple regression, and estimating the marketing efficiency. and the most important results were that the total product of fish farming in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate increased at an annual growth rate of 7.3% during the study period, The marketing efficiency of the first category farms increased in the research sample, as it reached 99.55% of tilapia to market, mullet 98.87%, toubar 98.98%, carp 99.65%, and catfish 99.67% and in the second category farms.The growth rate in the roots, the second category in the research sample, reached 99.55%, mullet 99.11%, toubar fish 99.2%, carp 99.72%, camouflage 99.73%, 78.77% flourished in agriculture and carp 98.77% and for catfish 98.89%.
