Abstract | ||||
Growth and development are the normal biological phenomenon of all living beings. They begin at conception and end at maturity. They are unique characteristics of children and any obstacle in this process at any stage can possibly result in aberration of growth and development, so early diagnosis and management for any deviation from the normal development is important. THE AIM OF WORK: The aim of this study is to carry out translation, modification and adaptation of the developmental profile 3 and its application on children from birth through age 12 years and 11 months. PATIENTS AND METHODS This study was firstly applied on 10 subjects as a pilot study, then it was carried on 100 normal children that attending with their families in the Phoniatrics Unit, in the outpatient clinic of Alexandria Main University hospital. After translation, modification and adaptation process, it was applied on the children and comparing it with gold standard tools used in this study (Denever II or Stanford binet and Vineland Social Maturity Scale | ||||
