| Abstract | ||||
| المعجم وعاء اللغة و حافظها , و معجمنا العربى قام بهذة المهمة خير قيام , وکان أکثر المعجميين يقتصرعلى الجمع أو النقل من الکتب السابقة, و الترتيب , وکان القليل من المعجميين من يکون له أثر من رأى أو اختيار فى معجمه . و کان من هؤلاء القليل ابن سيده ولذا فقد وجهت وجهى شطر هذا المعجم لأتناول بالدراسة فيه آراء صاحبه و اختياراته The lexicon is the container of language and its preserver, and our Arabic lexicographer did this task well, and most lexicographers were limited to collecting or transferring from previous books, and arranging, and few lexicographers had an impact of opinion or choice in his lexicon. And one of those few was the son of his master, and so I directed my part to this dictionary to study in it the opinions of its owner and his choices. | ||||
