| Abstract | ||||
| The aim of the current research is to develop awareness and skills towards dealing with hazardous waste for the employees of Ain Shams Specialized Hospital. The research was based on the experimental method, so some reading and visual aids were prepared, then a measure of awareness of hazardous waste was prepared, observation cards were prepared to measure skills, and then experimented on a group of (30) workers in the main laboratories at Ain Shams Specialized Hospital (Cairo), where the research ended with a number of results, the most important of which are . There are statistically significant differences between the degrees of the pre and post application of the awareness scale towards hazardous waste in favor of the post applicationThere are statistically significant differences between the degrees ofthe pre and post application of the skills observation cards in favor of the post application . The research recommended the necessity of using reading and visual aids, as well as including training courses For workers in this field, paying attention to activities and programs that lead to strengthening the link between the individual and the environment, and paying attention to developing skills to deal with hazardous waste. an introduction | ||||
