Abstract | ||||
The main objective of this study was to investigate the farmers' attitudes toward the Agricultural Extension National Campaign of wheat in some villages in Kom-Hamada District of 8ehaira Governorate. The necessary data were collected by using a pretested questionnaire through interviewing 135 farm-operators in the selected villages. Main statistical methods used for data analysis included: percentages, Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, variance coefficient, T -test, Chi-square t est, a nd simple correlation coefficient. The findings showed that 31 % of the respondents have positive attitudes toward the Agricultural Extension National Campaign of wheat, while 32% and 37% of the respondents have neutral and negative attitudes toward the Agricultural Extension National Campaign of wheat, respectively. The findings also indicated that there is a significant correlation at the 0.01 level of significance between the respondents' attitudes toward the Agricultural Extension National Campaign of wheat and the following variables: educational level, land holding size, wheat land size, years of experience in agricultural work, years of experience in cultivating wheat, participation in extension work, and exposure to agricultural information resources. | ||||
