Abstract | ||
The research aims to identify the impact of the use of information technology on the development of human resources skills and its impact on their job performance, With the advent of the Internet, the development of information and communication technology and the growing digital technological transformation of organizations, it has become necessary to convert jobs and paper files into electronic files. To achieve the objectives of the research, a field study was conducted on a number of tourism companies in Port Said by distributing survey forms to a random sample of their employees and managers in order to measure the impact of the application of information technology systems for human resources on the development of their performance skills. The obtained data were analyzed statistically using the SPSS statistical program to answer study questions. The study concluded that the information technology system has a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources performance. The study also showed that the use of information technology contributes to providing the information needed to make decisions in a timely manner. The study recommended keeping pace with the rapid changes in the use of information technology in the development of human resources in tourism companies. The necessity of paying attention that the human resources information systems in the tourism companies in Port Said include all that the human resources need in terms of training and qualifying employees. | ||
