| Abstract | ||||
| In the present study we address the external correlational strategies particularly the quantitative analysis on extralinguistic varieties through means of numerical measurement and statistical procedures that will allow us to show, in the right of micro-sociolinguistic, as far as possible, the notorious role of extralinguistic varieties examined. Therefore, this specifically facilitates the characterization of the language of young people from Madrid, considering the absolute and relative frequency of each variable. For this reason, this study has been applied to the neorealist youth literature of the nineties in Spain, called 'Generation X', based on three punk novels by the Spanish writer José Ángel Mañas, which are Historias del Kronen, Mensaka and Sonko95. | ||||
