| Abstract | ||
| Dynamic stall constitutes a major limiting factor for helico-pter's forward speed. Calculations of rotor airloads and helicopter limiting speeds introducing the blade pitching oscillations effects, translate the real case into a reasonable analytical model. The present technique offers a reliable mean for calculating the rotor airloads with the unsteady effects. The method is extended to determine the limiting forward speed of helicopter. | ||
