Abstract | ||||
The study aimed to develop usually persevere of the kindergarten child using a program based on the problem-solving strategy. The study sample consisted of (60) male and female kindergarten children of the second level (5-6) years who are enrolled in the kindergarten of the Toukh Primary Institute - Toukh Center - Qalyubia Governorate. The study tools consisted of the illustrated mind habits scale for kindergarten children from (5-6) years (prepared by the researcher), and a program based on a problem-solving strategy to develop some habits of mind for kindergarten children (prepared by the researcher). The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach with the design of the two groups (experimental group - control group), The results of the research reached the success of the problem-solving program in developing the habit of perseverance in the kindergarten child, and also the children of the experimental group were distinguished by their constant insistence on completing the tasks required of them in kindergarten and taking care of completing their homework, as well as verifying the three research hypotheses, The research recommended the need to pay attention to the development and training of children on the habits of mind through various activities and using modern strategies, as well as the need to pay attention to the development of habits of mind in the different educational stages due to its importance in achievement and the development of thinking. | ||||
