| Abstract | ||||
| Sustainability in the field of supply chains is one of the most crucial international issues, especially given the challenges that supply chains face in various parts of the world, as represented by the Russian-Ukrainian war and, before it, the Corona pandemic, in addition to the current global trend toward attention to sustainability in general and sustainable supply chains in particular, as represented by the Climate Conference that was held in the Arab Republic of Egypt in November 2022, Researchers discovered that supply chain technology will greatly aid in achieving sustainability in its three pillars: economic, environmental, and social, with a research gap in previous studies dealing with supply chain technology, particularly its application to businesses. As a result, the current study aims to bridge this gap by investigating the impact of using supply chain technologies on building sustainable supply chains, as well as investigating the moderating impact of senior management's strategic flexibility in strengthening the relationship between the independent variable (supply chain technology) and the dependent variable (sustainable supply chains) by applying to a group of 36 subsidiaries companies of the Food Industries Holding Company. . Findings – The study concluded that there is a positive, significant effect of all dimensions of supply chain technology (IOT, AI, Robotics, self-driving trucks and supply chain security) on the sustainability of supply chains, as well as the same effect on each of the dimensions of sustainability (economic, environmental and social). | ||||
