Abstract | ||||
Sustainability is considered one of the most important issues that has discussed in the tourism sector. Recently, many new concepts (especially Corporate Social Responsibility) have emerged to achieve sustainability. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was defined by the (Commission of the European Communities, 2001) as it is the “concept by which companies integrate social and environmental considerations into their operations and in their interaction with stakeholders on a voluntary basis”. Although researchers are interested in exploring the degree of commitment of the other industries to conduct the concept of CSR activities, it has hardly been investigated in the Tourism Industry (especially in the Airline Industry). Therefore, this study aimed to assess the degree of commitment of EgyptAir to its social responsibility by using the Content Analysis method by designing an index consists of six dimensions, namely: (Economic, Legal, Social, Environmental, Ethical, and Stakeholders) dimensions. The results showed that EgyptAir is highly committed to implementing its social responsibility. | ||||
