Abstract | ||||
The study aims to identify the reality of scientific Peer - review in in Menoufia University, Journal of Faculty of Arts , with a focus on the journal management system used at the (EKB),which is the system used in the journal , with monitoring the different roles & steps through the entire system., as well of the Quantetive and Qualitative of the Peer - reviewers in Menoufia University, Journal of Faculty of Arts, in addition to monitoring motives of Peer - reviewing, its procedures . As well as identifying the difficulties facing the Peer - reviewers when using the electronic reviewing system, and while monitoring the advantages and disadvantages of the electronic system for Peer – reviewing. determining the extent of the awareness of the Peer – reviewers using artificial intelligence applications(AI) such as text-to-voice conversion programs, programs to detect plagiarism and other artificial intelligence programs) to assist the Peer - reviewing process. The study used the descriptive analytical method ,as well as case study approach. One of the most important findings is the variety of difficulties facing the Peer - reviewers during process of reviewing . The use of (AI) applications was investigated ( e.g. text-to-voice conversion programs, programs to detect plagiarism and other artificial intelligence programs that assist the Peer - reviewing process , a percentage of 30.7% of reviewers has no idea about the use of (AI) applications. | ||||
