Abstract | ||||
Background: The major symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) are lower urinary tract symptoms & sexual dysfunction that impact on the quality of life for older men. Despite providing lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) alleviation, traditional medicinal & surgical treatments for BPH always have significant side effects on the ejaculatory function. Objective: To assess post-operative efficacy of Laser endoscopic enucleation of the prostate on Maintaining ejaculatory function. Conclusion: HoLEP technique has evolved during the last 21 years. Commitment to enhance recovery and reduce complications has allowed different groups around the world to propose modifications on different steps of the surgery. In These techniques, Improving postoperative continence recovery and Preserving antegrade ejaculation. Adoption of these modifications Among different HoLEP centers has influence to provide better results. | ||||
