| Abstract | ||
| Research studies the symbol as a philosophical equivalent of expression in the paintings of the Egyptian painter "Mamdouh Ammar", beginning with studying sources of his artistic vision, such as his upbringing, studies, life, culture and artistic orientations through which he created innovative concepts that express his own philosophy and vision of life. Starting with his symbols expressing the contradictions of life in the "circus", then the direction of expressing human loss through the "Effect" as a symbol of the absent present, as well as his expressive philosophical vision of Egypt's political reality during the setback then victory, and finally the impact of the "Anthropomorphic" or "Humanization" trend on the expressiveness of the symbol, his paintings of Gourna brides, wooden horses, and crows.. in a real artistic vision that Ammar mixed with imagination, and confirmed it with a very special exotic vision, creating from it a symbolic thought that carries the essence and nature of the human soul. | ||
