Abstract | ||||
Domestic Tourism supports the social and economic growth of any country. Furthermore, many countries are becoming more attentive to the importance of domestic tourism specifically after the pandemic of Covid-19. Nowadays people use mobile phones and mobile applications to search, exchange information, buy and sell products and services, and much more. Since domestic tourism has a significant position in the Egyptian tourism industry, the Egyptian Government is giving more attention to its marketing and promoting strategies. However, limited research has been conducted on the usage of mobile apps in enhancing domestic tourism. This study examines the validity of using mobile apps to enhance domestic tourism in Egypt from tourists’ perspective. A questionnaire is designed to measure how domestic tourist accepts the use of mobile apps through their domestic trips. Moreover, an online observation was used to investigate all the Egyptian Tourism mobile apps whether on App store or Google Play. | ||||
