ABSTRACT Any optical item (lens or mirror) is characterized by its spot diagram and point spread function. This paper is directed toward constructing a software package for the calculation and plotting of the spot diagram and point spread function. It can be used as a tutorial or a procedure for the design of an optical system, which can be used in building up a seeker head (homing head). | ||||
