| Abstract | ||
| We consider a single server queue with Poisson arrival of customers in batches of random size and a general setup time, where the service of the first customer in each busy period is preceded by a random setup time, on completion of which service begins. We are concerned with the steady state distributions of the additional queue size, additional delay and the queue waiting time distribution. | ||
