Abstract | ||
Mixed linear models are considered for which it is believed a priori that the ordering of the fixed effects is known. For testing with the order restriction on the fixed effects, we provide a unified approach, which is analogue to the usual F-test and similar to the case of one-way fixed effects model. This procedure is applicable for k- way mixed model with interaction, split-plot model, a partially nested model, balanced incomplete block model, and much more. Two examples are given for the purpose of illustration. | ||
