Abstract | ||||
The present work deals with the weak convergence of sample range and midrange when the sample size is a positive integer-valued random variable (r.v.). The convergence conditions as well as the limit forms are obtained under general conditions such as: The interrelation of the basic variables (i.e., the original random sample, and the random size is not restricted and to normalizing constants do not contain the random size. | ||||
