| Abstract | ||
| A generalization of the new better than used in average failure rate (NBAFR) model is introduced. Some properties of the newly introduced class are studied. The k-NBAFR and its dual k-NWAFR classes are shown to enjoy many desirable closure properties which make them useful in reliability applications. | ||
