Psychological safety of autistic children in public parks | الأمان النفسى لاطفال طيف التوحد فى الحدائق العامة | ||||

| Abstract | ||||
| Public parks lack the ability to accommodate the autistic child's fears, feelings of tension, fear and psychological insecurity, as he needs more support and care in public parks. This is done by applying the Attention Restoration Theory as a solution to integrate the autistic child and the child with natural features in the park and knowing its validity to measure his connection to the park and his feeling of amazement, connection, compatibility and independence in it. This is done by using the inductive approach to study the Attention Restoration Theory and applying its principles to the autistic child in the park, and using the analytical approach to divide the principles of the Attention Restoration Theory into criteria (amazement - connection - compatibility - independence) that can be measured on the child, and using the applied approach for direct experimentation on a sample of children with autism spectrum disorder. The experiment concluded that the criteria of the Attention Restoration Theory that were formulated and deduced proved correct, and the more time the autistic child spent in the park, the safer he felt (direct relationship between time and feeling of safety), and that the more the park contains and is simpler, the easier it is to perceive it and then feel its components and feel psychologically safe in it. تفتقر الحدائق العامة قدرتها على استيعاب مخاوف الطفل التوحدى وشعوره بالتوتروالخوف وعدم الأمان النفسى بها حيث أنه يحتاج إلى دعم ورعاية أكبر فى الحدائق العامة. وذلك من خلال تطبيق نظرية استعادة الانتباه كحل لدمج الطفل التوحدى والطفل ذات السمات الطبيعية في الحديقة ومعرفة مدى صلاحيتها لقياس ارتباطه بالحديقة وشعوره بالانبهار والاتصال والتوافق والاستقلال بها. وذلك من خلال استخدام المنهج الاستقرائى لدراسة نظرية استعادة الانتباه وتطبيق مبادئها على الطفل التوحدى فى الحديقة، واستخدام المنهج التحليلى لتجزئة مبادئ نظرية استعادة الانتباه إلى معايير (انبهار- اتصال- توافق- استقلال) يمكن قياسها على الطفل، واستخدام المنهج التطبيقى للتجربة المباشرة على عينة من الأطفال ذوى اضطراب طيف التوحد. حيث خلصت التجربة إلى أن معايير نظرية استعادة الانتباه التي تم صياغتها واستنباطها أثبتت صحتها وكلما قضى الطفل التوحدى وقت أكبر في الحديقة شعر بالأمان (العلاقة الطردية بين الوقت والشعور بالآمان)، وأن كلما زاد احتواء الحديقة وبساطتها تم ادراكها بسهولة ومن ثم الشعور بمكوناتها والشعور بالآمان النفسى فيها. | ||||
