Abstract
Eighteen parasitoids associated with the Egyptian armored scale insects (Homoptera: Diaspididae) are recorded. Key to the parasitoids attacking each species of armored scale insects in Egypt, based on the morphology of the adult female, are constructed. The general characters of the adult parasitoids are illustrated, together with more detailed fig­ures of some key characters. Keys are designed for use with slide mounted specimens, and the techniques for their preparation are de­scribed.
