Abstract | ||
The research aims to reveal the reality of using the interactive e-book in education by providing a systematic review of studies published during the period from 2018 to 2022 on the interactive e-book in education. It was possible to identify (12) studies in Arabic, and (7) studies in English. The search was limited to the following databases: Dar Al Manzumah, ERIC, and EBSCO. The results of the current research have shown the effectiveness of using the interactive e-book in the educational process in public and university education. Previous studies are interested in following strict standards for the design and production of the interactive e-book. Previous studies also provided an explanation of the concept of the interactive e-book and the most important interactive tools that must be available, as well as the tools and platforms used to produce the interactive e-book and their advantages. The current research also provided recommendations on the effectiveness of using the interactive e-book in education, such as the necessity of replacing the fixed e-books currently used in some general education courses with interactive e-books. It urged teachers and faculty members to use the interactive e-book, and the importance of providing training courses for teachers and faculty members to provide them with skills. Design and production of the interactive e-book, paying attention to the standards of design and production of the interactive e-book approved and reviewed in previous studies | ||
