Abstract
الملخص
استهدفت الدراسة التعرف على أثر إفصاح شركات قطاع الصناعات الاستخراجية والتعدينية المدرجة في بورصة عمان للأوراق المالية عن تكاليف المسؤولية الاجتماعية في القوائم المالية والمتمثلة بـ «حماية المستهلك, حماية البيئة وخدمة المجتمع المحيط وحماية العاملين» على الأداء المالي للقطاع. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم صياغة فرضية رئيسية ومجموعة من الفرضيات الفرعية وذلك بالإضافة إلى ذلك لقد تطوير استبانة مكونة من (4) محاور و توزيعها على مفردات عينة الدراسة والتي تكونت من 34 مديراً مالياَ وإداريا عاملين في شركات القطاع والتي يبلغ عددها 17 شركة. وتم استرجاع 29 استبانه. وبعد التحليل الإحصائي لنتائج الاستبانة, لقد نجحت الفرضية الرئيسية والفرضيات الفرعية في اجتياز الاختبار, وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أنه يوجد أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية للإفصاح عن تكاليف المسؤولية الاجتماعية الخاصة بحماية المستهلك وحماية البيئة وخدمة المجتمع على الأداء المالي للقطاع. كما وبينت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية للإفصاح عن التكاليف الخاصة بحماية العاملين على الأداء المالي لشركات القطاع. تضمنت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها أنه هنالك ضرورة لالتزام الشركات عينة الدراسة بالإفصاح عن تكاليف المسؤولية الاجتماعية الخاصة بكل من (حماية المستهلك, حماية البيئة, خدمة المجتمع المحيط) وذلك لما له من دور هام في تحسين الأداء المالي لشركات القطاع. 
Abstract
The study aimed to identify the impact of disclosure about the costs of social responsibility by Jordanian companies that operate in the mining and extraction industry on the financial performance of the industry. To achieve the purpose of this study, the researchers formulated a key hypothesis and a set of sub-hypotheses. In addition, they developed a questionnaire consisted of (4) axes, and were distributed to 34 finance and administrative managers who work in the stated industry. After  retrieved around 29 questionnaire, the researchers applied the Spss test to test the questionnaires’ answers. Consequently, the main and three of the sub hypotheses were proven, and the study revealed  that there is indeed a significant effect for the disclosure about the costs of social responsibility on the financial performance of the industry's companies. Paradoxically, there is not a  significant effect for disclosure about costs of  workers' protection. Based on the study's results, the researchers have recommended that it is important for the stated companies to disclose about the costs of social responsibility (consumer protection, environment protection, community service) because of its vital role in enhancing the financial performance of the mining and extraction industry's companies.
