Abstract
هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الوقوف على مدى تضمين مهارات الأمان والسلامة في مناهج الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية من وجهة نظر معلميهم بمدينة جدة، والتعرف إلى الفروق في ذلك المدى تبعاً لمتغيرات: الخبرة التعليمية والمؤهل العلمي ونوع البرنامج والدورات التدريبية التي تلقاها المعلم، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم اتباع المنهج الوصفي المسحي، حيث قام الباحثان بإعداد استبانة لقياس مدى تضمين مهارات الأمان والسلامة في مناهج الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية تكونت بصورتها النهائية من أربعة محاور بواقع (36) فقرة، وتم تطبيقها على (121) من معلمي الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية في مدينة جدة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة المتوفرة بناءً على استعدادهم للمشاركة في أداة الدراسة بشكلها الإلكتروني.
وأظهرت النتائج أن مدى تضمين مهارات الأمان والسلامة في مناهج الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية من وجهة نظر معلميهم قد جاء بمتوسط حسابي مقداره (3.98)، وبمستوى (مرتفع) بشكل عام، وقد تراوح المتوسط الحسابي لأبعاد الاستبيان ما بين (3.39) للمحور الأول بمستوى متوسط، وبين (4.45) للمحور الثاني بمستوى مرتفع جداً، كما وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متوسطات الدرجة الكلية لمقياس تضمين مهارات الأمان والسلامة في مناهج الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية تبعاً لمتغيرات: الخبرة التعليمية، والمؤهل العلمي، ونوع البرنامج، والدورات التدريبية. وبناء عليه أوصت الدراسة بالعمل على تطوير برامج تدريبية مكثفة للمعلمين حول تضمين مهارات الأمان والسلامة في مناهج الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، وتعزيز معرفة المعلمين بأهمية تضمين هذه المهارات وتزويدهم بالأدوات والاستراتيجيات اللازمة لتنفيذ ذلك بفعالية.
The primary goal of this study was to assess the incorporation of safety and security skills in the curricula designed for children with intellectual disabilities, as perceived by their teachers in Jeddah. Additionally, the study aimed to discern variations in this inclusion based on certain variables: educational experience, academic qualifications, program type, and the training courses. To fulfill these objectives, a descriptive survey approach was employed. The researcher formulated a questionnaire to gauge the degree to which safety and security skills are integrated into the curricula for children with intellectual disabilities. The finalized questionnaire comprised four sections with a total of 36 items. It was administered to a sample of 121 teachers responsible for instructing students with intellectual disabilities in Jeddah. The selection of participants was based on their willingness to engage with the electronic version of the study tool.
The results showed that, according to teachers' perspectives, the integration of safety and security skills into the curricula for children with intellectual disabilities achieved a mean score of 3.98, indicating an overall high level. The arithmetic mean across the scale dimensions varied, ranging from 3.39 for the first dimension (moderate level) to 4.45 for the second dimension (very high level). Statistical analysis demonstrated no significant differences in the overall scores for safety and security skill integration in the curricula of children with intellectual disabilities based on variables: educational experience, academic qualification, program type, and training courses.
Consequently, the study recommends the implementation of comprehensive training programs for teachers, focusing on embedding safety and security skills into the curricula for children with intellectual disabilities. It further suggests enhancing teachers' awareness of the significance of these skills and equipping them with the requisite tools and strategies for effective implementation.
