| Abstract | ||||
| Abstract : This research discusses the global shift towards renewable energy due to increasing energy demands, dwindling natural resources, and environmental concerns like global warming. It highlights the progress of various countries in Europe, aiming to increase their renewable energy usage to 20% by 2020. Egypt, with ample wind and solar resources, is explored in terms of its potential for wind energy, projecting a generation of approximately 3.5 GWe by 2022, constituting around 9% of the total installed power (40.2 GW) at that time. The collective renewable sources (hydro, wind, solar) are anticipated to provide about 7.4 GWe by 2022, accounting for roughly 19% of the total installed power. This transition could reduce reliance on diminishing oil and gas reserves, fostering the country's sustainable development. | ||||
