Abstract | ||||
The research aimed to identify the level of knowledge of the livestock breeders studied about the benefits of artificial insemination technology in the villages of Nubariya, and to identify the level of their knowledge of the characteristics of the technology, and to identify the stages of the process of their adoption of the technology, and finally to identify the problems they face when applying it. For artificial insemination technology; The research was conducted on a random sample of livestock breeders in the research area, which consisted of 95 respondents out of a total of 1,800 breeders investigated using the William Cochran equation; Data was collected using a questionnaire form during October 2023. The most important results are summarized as follows: - more than half of the respondents (50.5%) had a high level of knowledge about the benefits of artificial insemination technology. - more than two-thirds of the respondents (67.4%) had a high level of knowledge about the characteristics of artificial insemination technology. - One of the reasons for continuing the decision to finally adopt the artificial insemination technique for livestock was, in order, the following: The amount of milk produced when using the artificial insemination technique is higher, at a rate of 36.8% of them. - One of the most important problems facing the livestock breeders surveyed when using artificial insemination technology was the lack of spread of artificial insemination centers in the region, mentioned by (73.7%) of them. | ||||
