Abstract | ||||
The study aimed to develop Visual mental Imagery in order to improve pragmatic language among children with autism spectrum disorder. The main study group consisted of (6) male and female children with ASD, and their chronological ages ranged between (6) years and (8) years. The arithmetic mean for chronological age was: (6.73), and the standard deviation: (0.786), and a set of tools were used, including the CARES Childhood Autism Rating Scale (C.A.R.S) (prepared by Scobler et al., 1999), Arabization and standardization (Huda Amin, 2004). ), Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale, Fifth Picture (Fifth Picture) (prepared by Mahmoud Abu El-Nil, 2011), Visual mental Imagery Scale for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (prepared by the researcher), Social Use of Language Scale for Children (normal children and those with disabilities) (prepared by Adel Abdullah Muhammad, 2021), the training program for Visual mental Imagery Developing (prepared by the researcher), and the results of the study revealed the effectiveness of the training program in developing the development of Visual mental imagery in improving the pragmatic language of children with ASD, and the continued effectiveness of the program after the follow-up period. | ||||
