Abstract | ||||
Visual Metamorphosis is the term we use to refer to a change of form in art that allows the artist to transform a shape representing one element into an identical shape representing something else. It is a visual technique that has been rewarded for metaphor and metaphor in literature and, as a result, has been widely used. The visual and thermal comfort of the recipient is highly dependent on the external environmental climatic conditions, which are constantly changing. Artworks are studied as a complex interface between the interior and exterior of buildings that has the potential to act as a protective or regulatory element against the extreme vagaries of the external climate. Interrelated topics including kinetic interface, biomimicry, building form as a modifier of local climate, energy efficiency, resting state, and parametric design thinking were studied. The way to create a generative and rapid shape to respond to different climates will be a solution to provide more adaptability to dynamic daylighting. This study aims to propose a kinetic interface design process that has the potential to simultaneously improve the visual and thermal comfort of the recipient by controlling the on-site renewable energy resources consisting of solar radiation and wind. | ||||
