| Abstract | ||||
| هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على عادات العقل والممارسات التدريسية لدى معلمي الرياضيات في مدينة نجران. واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي والمنهج الارتباطي ، و تكون مجتمع الدراسة من (٨٠) معلماً للرياضيات للمرحلة الثانوية بمدينة نجران، وطبقت الدراسة على عينة عشوائية تكونت من (50) معلماَ، واستخدمت أداة مقياس العقل للعادات : (المثابرة ، التحكم بالتهور ، تحمل المسؤولية ، التفكير بمرونة ، تطبيق المعرفة السابقة بمواقف جديدة)، وأداة الاستبانة للممارسات التدريسية : (التخطيط- التنفيذ - التقويم - الإدارة الصفية).وقد خلصت إلى النتائج التالية : امتلاك المعلمين لعادات العقل بدرجة متوسطة، وأن مستوى الممارسات التدريسية للمعلمين كانت بدرجة متوسطة، كما أثبتت وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين عادات العقل والممارسات التدريسية لهم. وأوصت الدراسة باجراء دورات تدريبية لتنمية عادات العقل لدى معلمي الرياضيات . The primary objective of this study was to investigate the cognitive dispositions and instructional techniques employed by mathematics teachers in the city of Najran. The research employed a descriptive and correlational methodology, focusing on a target population of 80 teachers. A random sampling technique was utilized to sample comprising 50 teachers. The employed a standardized instrument, the "Habits of Mind" scale, to evaluate specific cognitive dispositions, including perseverance, impulse control, responsibility-taking, flexible thinking, and the application of prior knowledge to novel situations. A questionnaire was administered to assess the teachers' instructional practices, encompassing planning, implementation, evaluation, and classroom management. The findings indicated that teachers exhibited a moderate level of cognitive dispositions and instructional practices. A positive correlation was established between the measured cognitive dispositions and instructional practices. It is recommended that organized reading and discussion sessions be organized for mathematics teachers in Najran. These sessions would serve the purpose of elucidating the significance of the relationship between cognitive dispositions and instructional practices, thereby fostering a deeper understanding among educators, and potentially enhancing their teaching methods. | ||||
