| Abstract | ||||
| يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل المعنى الضمني في "أربعون عاماً في الكويت" للكاتبة البريطانية فيوليت ديكسون من منظور براجماتي لتوضيح المعنى الضمني و فهم المعاني الخفية الذي يشتمل عليه العمل الأدبي. ويتضمن هذا البحث شرحاً للإطار النظري للتضمين اللغوي وأنواعه، كما يشمل التضمين اللغوي في "أربعون عاماً في الكويت" للكاتبة فيوليت ديكسون ويقدم تحليلاً للتضمين اللغوي بالتطبيق على بعض الأمثلة لإبراز أهمية استخدام التضمين اللغوي في التحليل اللغوي حيث أنه تؤدي إلى فهم أفضل للمعنى الضمني. This research aims to analyze the implicit meaning in Forty Years in Kuwait by the British writer Violet Dixon from a pragmatic perspective to clarify the implicit meaning and understand the hidden meanings contained in the literary work. This research includes an explanation of the theoretical framework of linguistic implication and its types. It also includes linguistic implication in “Forty Years in Kuwait” by Violet Dixon and provides an analysis of linguistic implication by applying it to some examples to highlight the importance of using linguistic implication in linguistic analysis as it leads to a better understanding of the implied meaning. | ||||
