Abstract | ||||
Recurrent abortion in the late stage of pregnancy in mares together with respiratory manifestations in youngs was the most problem in different breeding farms of horses. Samples collected at post mortem and trials for viral isolation were done. Cytoplasm, however budding of the virus on the cell surface could be confirmed. Typing of the isolated strain revealed that it is EHVI and this is the first record of equine herpes virus existence in Egypt. | ||||
