Abstract | ||
Egypt occupies a unique place in Jewish Literature. According to Jewish Literature Egypt is depicted as a land of humility. It is depicted in this manner as Old Testament emphasizes that Israelites suffered during the reign of Pharaohs. We have to put in our mind that Zionist Movement paid large attention to Jewish history. It seeks to employ Jewish History in its written Literature & its visual arts. No doubt, the art of Cartoon is one of the most influential tools in world of Politics. Hence, Israeli art sought to implement the orientations of Israeli Politics. This study aims at shedding light upon the approach of "Dosh" & "Daryan" in dealing with Jewish motifs regarding Egypt in their cartoons. .Artistic works of "Dosh" & "Daryan" show that the Israeli art went hand in hand with Israeli Political orientations. | ||
