Abstract | ||
In the present work, Cobalt tetra oxide (Co3O4) nanoparticles have been added to Silicon rubber (SiR) at different concentrations to be used as a solar selective material for thermal solar heaters. The prepared samples have been characterized by using XRD, FT-IR, SEM, TGA, and DSC. The absorbance and the emittance have been calculated from the reflection spectra of the UV-Vis-NIR in the range from 300 to 2500 nm. The investigated samples exhibited integral solar absorbance values of about 91% and emittance values of about 8.7%. | ||
