Abstract | ||||
NTA is an essential tool in cybersecurity since it allows the identification and remediation of multiple kinds of network threats. It entails the collection, storage, and analysis of network data to look for trends that symbolize insecurity within a network. And as for the NTA tools one of the most popular and powerful is Wireshark which offers deep packet inspection that enables the detailed analysis of the network traffic. The technique employed in this paper discusses Wireshark for network traffic analysis with emphasis on packet analysis. Moreover, we discuss the scenario of DDoS attacks on network traffic and, especially, NTA’s role in the effective detection and prevention of such threats. Last, there is the incorporation of AI into NTA and subsequent recommendations for strengthening networks’ protection from sophisticated threats. Network Traffic Analysis (NTA) is now a critical component of the majority of contemporary security environments. There are many tools that are available for capture and analysis of the network packets and one of the powerful and open source tool is Wireshark which will help in identifying the malicious activities. | ||||
