Abstract | ||||
Background: Nowadays, orthopedic surgeons perform anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using the peroneus longus tendon as an autograft along with the common usage of hamstring tendon or bone-patellar tendon-bone grafts. Methods: This prospective study was conducted on thirty patients aged 18 - 45 years undergoing reconstruction of ACL or Posterior Cruciate Ligament Injury (PCL) primary who are admitted at Orthopedic Surgery Department, at Benha from January 2020 to December 2022. All patients were subjected to the following personal history, history of present complaint of patient, timing of the trauma, and history.
