Abstract | ||||
Mint not only gained its importance from its medicinal uses, but also for its ability to be grown in the new reclaimed soils i.e. New Valley Governorate. Therefore, this vital plant needed to assess its nutritional requirements under the new reclaimed soils. In this review article, we will discuss the botanical, chemical composition and uses of two species of mint, spearmint (Mentha spicata) and peppermint (Mentha piperita) plants. This article summarizes comprehensive information concerning traditional uses, phytochemistry, and pharmacological activities of the two Mentha spp. | ||||
