Design: A quasi-experimental research design with a pre/post-test was utilized. Setting: This study was conducted at Sohag University Hospital's obstetrics department. Sample:- A convenience sampling of all nurses working in the previously mentioned setting, Egypt. Tools: Tool (1): A self-administered Nurses' Knowledge Questionnaire regarding Artificial Intelligence and Tool (2): Nurses' General Attitudes towards Artificial Intelligence Questionnaire. Results: Pre-implementation of the educational guidelines, 90% had unsatisfactory total knowledge scores and 88% had a negative attitude. After implementing the instructional guidelines, 92% had satisfactory total knowledge scores, and 96% had a positive attitude with statistically significant differences. Moreover, highly statistically significant differences between the demographic characteristics and total knowledge level post-implementation of the educational guidelines at (P<0.00). Conclusion: The educational guidelines that were conducted in this area had a significant effect on the promotion of maternity nurses' knowledge and attitude regarding Artificial Intelligence applications.
