Abstract | ||||
Introduction: The growing demand for aesthetic perfection in dentistry has spurred advancements in all-ceramic systems, with a particular focus on mimicking the natural appearance of teeth. This study delves into the effects of different temperatures and modes of sintering processes on the translucency of CAD/CAM pre-crystallized lithium disilicate ceramic. Aim of the Study: to analyze the effect of different temperatures and modes of sintering processes on CAD/CAM pre-crystallized lithium disilicate ceramic translucency using Spectrophotometer. Materials and Methods: Using AutoCAD, 96 ceramic discs were designed from Amber Mill. Samples were randomly categorized into different four groups high, medium, low translucency, and medium opacity based on the temperature of crystallization. Samples were analyzed using reflectance spectrophotometry against black and white backgrounds. Results: Statistical analysis of the translucency parameter (TP) revealed notable differences among the distinct crystallization temperature and mode groups. Rejecting the null hypothesis. Conclusion: This research concludes that controlled thermal refinement is crucial for modulating the transparency of CAD/CAM pre-crystallized lithium disilicate ceramic. | ||||
